Supporting contraceptive access in Massachusetts during COVID-19

In the midst of this public health emergency, we want to extend a thank you to all of the healthcare professionals and community leaders working diligently on the front lines to keep our communities safe. All of us at Upstream are thinking about the health and safety of you and your loved ones.

As our health center partners work tirelessly to provide uninterrupted care, we have moved quickly to develop virtual components to our program and to create resources to support contraceptive access during this challenging time.

Delivering Contraceptive Services via Telehealth:

Upstream’s COVID-19 Resource Page:

Upstream has launched a webpage for health centers with the latest information regarding contraceptive care during COVID-19. This includes guidelines on counseling, stocking, and leveraging telehealth for contraceptive care, as well as the following toolkits:

Our Work Is Changing. Our Commitment Is Not.

Upstream is adapting quickly to this unprecedented challenge. We remain accessible virtually, and we are eager to be a resource and partner. We will be rolling out virtual training and coaching options in the next few weeks, and are committed to doing everything we can to ensure that patients are able to access the contraceptive care they want, on their own terms.

If we can support you in additional ways, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at MA@Upstream.org.
