It is hard to believe that we are over a year since the start of the pandemic. It is even more amazing to think about how much our health center partners have achieved in the same time frame, amidst the impact of COVID-19. As we progress through 2021, we are taking our partners’ lead — giving them the space they need to care for our communities effectively and safely through the pandemic, while also ensuring they have the tools and guidance to sustain contraceptive care here in Washington state. We are forever grateful to our partners and all health care providers for everything you do to keep Washingtonians safe.
Upstream Graduates
Many of our early partners in Washington have completed the active technical assistance portion of our work! This means that they have completed training, and fully implemented changes across their practices to ensure the skills, policies and protocols are in place to continually provide and advance best in class contraceptive care to their communities.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication throughout our partnership. Without you, building a world of universal access to all contraceptive methods would not be possible.

Welcome Jennifer and Cassie!
Thank you Bree Collaborative
With your help late last year, the Bree Collaborative approved new sexual and reproductive healthcare recommendations to improve quality, equity, and cultural appropriateness of these services across Washington. Included in the recommendations are the importance of asking a parenting and/or pregnancy intention screening question to begin the process of delivering patient-centered contraceptive care free from bias and coercion. Thank you to all the members of the committee for continuing to make Washington one of the best states in the country to receive sexual and reproductive healthcare.
